What You Need To Know

Where we are and when we’re open

Katikati Community Centre is located at 45 Beach Road in Katikati. Our centre office is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm. We close on Thursday, 22 December for the holidays.

Enrolment Info

You can enrol via this website, phone us on 07-549 0399 or register in person at our centre at 45 Beach Road.

All fees include GST and need to be paid within 3 days after you enrol. You can do this online by internet banking (Katikati Community Centre 03-1550-0006540-00)or pay cash/Eftpos at the centre. Your space on a course is not confirmed until full payment is received.

We need a minimum number for courses to go ahead so enrol early to avoid disappointment. If a course doesn’t get enough enrolments to go ahead, we’ll let you know and will give you a full refund or suggest a transfer to another course.

If a course is full, you can join the waiting list. We’ll contact you if a place comes up and, if we get enough interest, we can sometimes set up extra courses.

Refunds and Transfers (Cancellation Policy)

If a course doesn’t get enough enrolments to go ahead, we’ll let you know and will give you a full refund or suggest a transfer to another course.

Full refund is given for cancellations up to 7 days before a course starts.

If you do have to cancel your registration within 7 days before the course starts, you’ll get a 50% refund. We’re sorry but there are no refunds or transfers after a course has started.

If you have to miss a session, it’s not possible to catch up on another course.

Government-subsidised Courses

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) supports our NZ Sign Language, te reo Māori and ESOL courses so fees are reduced for NZ citizens and residents. So we can meet our TEC funding requirements, you must attend at least 80% of the sessions.
